Are you a Deputy or Assistant Headteacher (or Vice Principal) looking for a programme to springboard you into Headship within the next few years?
The Gateway to Headship programme offers aspirant Headteachers an excellent opportunity to review and develop their own key leadership qualities in the context of both Primary Mainstream and/or Special school settings.
Linwood Teaching School Alliance, in partnership with Ambitions TSA, offers aspirant Headteachers the opportunity to review the personal competencies and professional standards required to step up to Headship. Participants will be supported through a bespoke development programme which includes a two day residential, three two day internships and opportunities for 1:1 coaching.
During a two day conference, participants will hear from experienced Headteachers from both mainstream and special school settings. Aspiring Headteachers will have the opportunity to review their own attributes and skills with an experienced Headteacher mentor, in order to create a personalised Action Plan. In each of the following three terms participants will complete two day internships in mainstream Primary schools with opportunities for internships in our partner special schools.
